Renee Addington-Carey & Karen Brack-Owners/Designers
As we evolve, our homes should too. Suzanne Tucker
When friendship, careers, and passion intersect (thanks to adjoining yoga mats....)
It started on the yoga mat. We found ourselves occupying the same spots at a yoga studio each class and as we chatted, found we had a lot in common and our lives had followed similar paths. We share a love of dogs, reading, yoga and Cher. When we found ourselves at a crossroad in our respective careers, we both decided it was time pursue a love of home design and helping people move toward the home and life they want to create.
KC Stage Coach Home Design was born.
(For the record, while Karen is a huge Donny Osmond fan, Renee is team Bruno)

Meet Renee and Karen
I have always been fascinated with home design and furnishings. I firmly believe that the environment you live in greatly influences every factor of your life. At a young age, I would pour through the furniture section of catalogs and the pages of homes magazines to plan my dream house. I love walking through model homes and studying the design choices and toying with what I would have done differently. My career took me in a different direction and I spent several years as the Vice President of Business Operations of a successful consulting firm but I never gave up my belief that a beautiful home helps create a beautiful life. Now in a second phase of my professional life I want to help my clients create a beautiful life.
When I was 14, I decided it was time to take down my Donny Osmond posters and decorate my room. I stripped furniture and shopped for accessories. Using my babysitting money, I ordered my first rolls of wallpaper and turned my room into a baby blue gingham dream (it was a long time ago). Ever since, I have been re-decorating every space in which I've lived (including wallpapering my dorm walls with wrapping paper) and helping friends decorate their homes. After a long career in public education, I am so excited to finally be able to do what I love full-time, and I am especially excited about E-design; talk about combining two of my loves: decorating and shopping online.
